WSOP 2010 Event 2

Funny incidents were of course bound to happen in the most expensive tournament during WSOP 2010. More than 100 players paid the significant buy in of $50.000 and when the tournament was concluded Michael Mizrachi was the one to be awarded the bracelet and more than one and a half million dollars. His brother Robert ended sixth in the same tournament and what was even more fun was that it was no other than Michael “ The Grinder” who was the executor when it came to eliminate Robert Mizrachi. Even more spectacular was it, that the 16 players who got a share of the prize pool were only came from two different countries namely USA and Russia. Russia could take the runner up position, tenth and fifteenth but the rest of the money went to American players. It seems that European players not yet have learned to play the many different poker variants that is played in the Player Championship event. 8 different poker variations are played and many of those are not natural games for Europeans where the home game culture is not as established as in the USA where more than 50 million people play poker. The games played in the Poker Players Championship are Limit Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, Seven Card Razz, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha and 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball which turned out to be games Michael Mizrachi mastered in full. Congratulations to him with the WSOP title which un doubly is one of the most prestigious as of today in his collection of poker tournament triumphs.
